Edward Lee Blair

Edward Lee Blair, age 81, born January 21, 1934, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. He was a long time member of Salem Baptist Church and retired from KUB (known as Daddy Rabbit by his crew). Preceded in death by parents, Woody and Stella Blair; great-grandson, Elisha Overholt; and sister, Ruth Ailor. Survived by children and spouses, Edwina Moore, Dennis and Darlene Blair, Jamie and Steve Byrd, Rick Blair, David and Debbie Blair; grandchildren, Jaycen Lucas, Sabrina Blair, Meghann Overholt, Daniel Blair; and great-grandchild, Alixandria Overholt; brother, Don Blair; brother-in-law, Cecil Ailor. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. John Holland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Building Fund and/or Missions. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel and proceed to Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for 11:00 am interment.
