Edward C. "Ed" LaRue Sr.

Edward C. “Ed” LaRue Sr. 87, of Knoxville, TN passed away December 16, 2024 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. Ed was a veteran having served in the Army. He retired as captain of the Knoxville Fire Department, number 15 after 32 years. Ed also owned and operated Quality Tile Company, was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family on Norris Lake. Ed is survived by his wife of 35 years, Martha Jane LaRue; daughter, Deborah Jo Debord (Randy); son, Tim LaRue; grandchildren, Joy DeBord, Maranda DeBord Collins, Randy DeBord, III;  great grandchildren, Kayla McDowell and Daniel Collins and great great granddaughter, Khloe Jade Sosebee.Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Elizabeth LaRue; son, Edward C. “Eddie” Jr.; sisters, Mary Jane, Patsy Jo and Elinor.
