Edsel Earl Norris

Edsel “Ed” Earl Norris 89, passed away on December 8, 2022. Ed graduated from Rule High School in 1951 and after serving in the US Army, he graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1959. He is preceded in death by parents, Earl and Annabel Norris, sister Barbara Sweat, son Mike Vandergriff and grandson Gregory Vandergriff, Jr. Ed is survived by loving wife Mildred “Millie” Bledsoe/Vandergriff/Norris, sons Gregory Norris, Greg (Susan), Doug (Cathy) and Chris (Theresa) Vandergriff, daughter-in-law Connie Vandergriff, along with 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, sister Margaret Doug Bailey along with several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm at Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
