Edris Villegas, age 82, of Knoxville, passed away January 2, 2017. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a sweet woman, she loved to sew and worked as a seamstress making fabulous clothes. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by mother, Zelda Harrigan Henley and husband, Benigno Villegas. Survivors, children: Recaldo (Molly) Villegas, Demenico Villegas, Altagracia Villegas, Georgine (Ignatius) Martin, Priscilla Gilmore, Robelto Villegas, Narsico Villegas, Danelo (Patricia) Villegas, Benado Villegas and Ayala Villegas. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brothers: Roy Stout, William and James Henley. Sister, Juliet George and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2pm Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Rev. Tom Everett officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30-2pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
