Edna Ann Varner

Edna Ann Varner, age 68, of Clinton, TN passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  She enjoyed being with her family and friends.  Edna was sweet and loving to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Kenneth Small; mom, Irene Short and brother, Willis Short.

Edna is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Varner; daughters, Denna (Tony) Kelly, Amanda Newman; sons, Edward Shipley, Jr and Todd Shipley; 12 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am - 1:00pm, Monday, January 6, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel and then proceed to Norris Memorial Gardens for a 2:00pm graveside service.  Rev. Herb Coffee officiating.
