Edna Paulett O'Connor

Edna Paulett O’Connor, age 71 of Knoxville, passed away August 11, 2021. Edna was a dedicated servant of the Lord, of the Baptist faith, and loved her family beyond measure. She was originally a member of Washburn Street Baptist Church before the church congregation moved under the leadership of Rev. Bill Romines, and she became a Charter Member of Glen Oak Baptist Church, Rev. Danny Scates Pastor. Preceded in death by: parents Paul and Irene Jones, sisters Helen Mitulski and Carolyn Jones, and son-in-law Gregory Dunsmore. She leaves behind her brother Charles Robinson, sister and brother-in-law Fay and Alan Inman, daughter Brenda Dunsmore, daughter and son-in-law LeeAnn and Barry Killion, grandchildren Jacob (Lindsey) Killion, Emily (Andrew) Ray, Wesley and Jonathan Hawkins, great-grandchildren: Colton and Gavin Killion, Madison and Kaylee Ray, and special grandson Camden Killion, with whom she built a loving bond with over the past year. She also had a special close friend for many years, Jackie Trammel. In her last days, she expressed many thanks to the nursing staff from UT Home Hospice care. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Bob Zavattieri and Rev. Lee Strunk officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM interment Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Beech Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jacob Killion, Wesley Hawkins, Jonathan Hawkins, and Andrew Ray. Special pallbearers: Colton Killion, Camden Killion, Gavin Killion, David Harper and Evan Hall.
