Edith Maxine Warren

Maxine Wood Warren, age 92, passed away February 14th, 2019. For decades she was a member of Central Baptist Church Fountain City. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and Sunday School Class. She was a bookkeeper for many years for Jewel Tea Company. All who knew her will remember a kind, fun loving person with a very sharp wit. Her primary gift was hospitality. She enjoyed having people in her home, whether there were 2 or 20. A favorite pastime for Maxine was camping with her husband, family, and friends. Gone on before her are husband George (of more than 50 years); mother and father Margaret and Bob Wood; four brothers- Bob, Paul, Bill, and Tom. Remaining to remember a life well lived are step-daughter Pat Russell and grandchildren; sisters Fran Wood, Ann Witt and husband Charles, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at 2:45pm Saturday February 16, 2019 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service.  
