Edith M. (Brown) Day- age 88, of North Knoxville, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center. She was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist church for 64 years. She was part of the Rebecca Disciple Sunday school program. Retired from Palm Beach after forty-six years of service. Preceded in death by husband, Bobby Day, parents Harvey R. Brown and Wanda Mynatt Brown, sister Bonnie Radar, brothers, Don E. Brown, and Kenneth R. Brown, nephew, Paul K. Rader. Survived by sisters, Dorotha B. Haynes (Knoxville), Claudia B. Phillips (Texas), nieces, Renee R. Winstead (Colorado), Connie H. Berry (Maryville), Ann P. Sanders (Mississippi), April P. Wilson (Texas), Audra P. Willis (Colorado), nephews, Randy Haynes (Knoxville), Barry Rader (California), Eddie Brown (California). Great nieces and nephews and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. Receiving friends 6p.m.-7p.m., with 7p.m. service Tuesday, Rev. John Holland officiating. Interment Wed. 9a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
