Earl Willard Gosnell

Earl Willard Gosnell, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021, after a battle with lung cancer. He was born in Knoxville, TN on July 10, 1957 and was of the Baptist faith. He worked for many years as a copier service technician, had a lifelong love of music, and relished being the front man of his bands. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Ollie and Ovid Gosnell, sisters Colene Gosnell and Nancy Womble, and brothers Johnny and Bobby Gosnell. Earl is survived by son and daughter-in-law Todd and Kisha Gosnell, sons Jerry and Dylan Gosnell, daughter and son-in-law Bethany and Kevin Lindsay, granddaughter Ivy Gosnell, brothers David (Becky) and Edward (Kay) Gosnell, sisters Kim Gosnell and Linda (Carl Ray) Mills, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to those who provided excellent care to dad, especially throughout this past year, including but not limited to Kat Cook, APN, Dr. Joseph, the staff of Tennessee Cancer Specialists and Thompson Cancer Center West. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home in Halls with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Danny Overholt officiating.
