Earl Clifton Loope

Earl Clifton Loope, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Loudon Healthcare Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, James Clayton, Sr. and Nellie Loope; brother, James Clayton Loope, Jr., Donald Joe Loope; sister, Mary Ruth Loope. Survived by wife, Pauline Loope; daughter, Kimberly Nugent; grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Andrew and Hannah Nugent; sister, Shelby Jean Dunn; brother, Claude Winfred Loope; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to Loudon Healthcare Center for their care and kindness. The family will receive friend 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 8:00 PM, with Father Richard Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 AM, Wednesday, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue for an interment service at 10:00 AM.
