Dulia B. Taylor, age 81, of Powell, passed away October 17, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, John Taylor. Parents, Ethel & Ted Weaver. Infant brother, “Baby Ray”, Brothers, Howard & Carl Weaver and nephew, Roger Hazel. Survived by: daughters & spouses, Pat & Al Hodge and Linda & Donnie Huffaker. Grandchildren & spouses: Dawn & Randall Smith, Brandon Wilson and Amber & Jamie Evans. Great-grandchildren: Tyler, Madison and Makenzie Ervin and Ellyce Evans. Sisters: Ada Townsend of Knoxville and Ella Hazel of Irwin, Pa. The family would like to give a very special thanks to all the nurses, physicians, and caregivers at Shannondale Health Care Center, Caris Hospice, Thompson Breast Cancer Center, Holston Rehab, Emory Family Practice in Powell and Mrs. Taylors’s longtime neighbors Freddie & Flora Dills. These precious people blessed us with their cares and concerns for our dear Mother during her illness. Family & friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45am Tuesday for graveside service at 11am. Rev. Steve Ross officiating.
