Doyle Wayne Dixon

Doyle W. Dixon, age 75, of Knoxville, passed away June 9, 2015 at Ft. Sanders Hospital. Member of Gospel Baptist Church and retired from WBIR television after 36 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Katherine & Leonard Dixon. Sister, Jeanette Rush. Great-grandson, Gregory Wade. Baby Greene in-laws, Albert & Irene Smith. Brother-in-law, Jay Woodby. Survivors: wife, Judy. Children: Dexter & fiancé Crystele Lambert. Buddy Gregory (Pam). Angela Boruff. Grandchildren: Rachel, Ryan, Matthew, Heather, Chris, Dillon, Dean, Ashley and Randy. Great-grandchildren: Rylan, Haley, and Jaxon. Sisters: Wilma Mason (Charlie) and Judy Dixon. Sister-in-law, Pam Woodby and several nieces & nephews. Doyle you didn’t leave this world knowing you weren’t ever loved and always will be, till we meet again, Love Judy. Family & friends will meet at Perrins Hollow Cemetery, Indian Ridge Road in Grainger County, at 10:45am Friday for graveside service at 11am. Rev. Richard Niceley officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
