Douglas Wayne Pickens

Douglas Wayne Pickens “The Mayor of South Knoxville” passed away surrounded by family that loved him. He was a devoted father, grandfather and a die-hard Tennessee Volunteer fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and James “Bud” Pickens; brother, Jimmy Pickens; and ex-wives, Mary-Lou Pickens and Laura Pickens. He is survived by brother, Robert Pickens (and family); sister-in-law, Anne (Jimmy) Pickens; sons, Jesse Pickens and Seth (Amanda) Pickens; grandchildren, Brooklin, Rayne, Aiden and Rylin Pickens; along with many cousins and friends alike. Family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a 7pm service to follow. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
