Douglas Kenyon Kerley

Douglas “Doug” Kenyon Kerley, age 69 of Powell, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, July 10, 2021. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell. He worked for Y-12 Oak Ridge for over forty years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 519. He enjoyed spending time on the lake, fishing, gardening, and riding motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Ernest Kenneth (Jake) Kerley, and Grandparents Aaron and Marie Kerley. He is survived by his loving mother Marie Conner Kerley, Joyce Kerley, sons; Jason (Alison) Kerley of Knoxville, TN, and Jeremy (Lauren) Kerley of Hudson, NC. Grandchildren; Caleb, Ethan, Brady, Joseph, Conner, Kylee, and Maggie, Brothers; David, Larry, and Jeff, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm with service to follow, Rev. Fred Bittle Jr. officiating, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.
