Doug Welch

Doug “Gator” Welch, age 58 of Corryton, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023. He was a loving and caring husband, father, pap and friend. He had such a heart of gold if you needed help, he was there. His heart was filled with love for his precious grandbabies. His favorite thing to do was watch his son Rusty go round and round the dirt track. Him and his wife Kellie were married for over 32 loving years. He was known by his friend's 'Gator". where he drove a commercial vehicle for many years, until his health started failing him, we can't forget his fur babies Sadie and Bristol that he loves so much.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Welch; father, Duane Welch; grandparents, Allene and Sam Welch; and grandparents, Laura and Vaughn Nicely.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kellie Welch; son, Rusty (Teiarrah) Welch; grandchildren, Kasetyn and Lakeleigh Welch; and his puppies, Sadie and Bristol; as well as many, many other family and friends. Pallbearers, Joe Keck "Hotrod", Eli Keck, Richie Overholser "Roo", Billy Wallace, Kenny Graybeal, Craig Smith.

The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, with a 7:00pm service to follow officiated by Pastor Jerry Vittatoe. Family and friends will then meet at Clapps Chapel on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10:45am for an 11:00am graveside service. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
