Dorothy Virginia Patterson

Dorothy V. “Dot” Patterson, age 83, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2018. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband, Arsel Patterson and mother, Josephine Glazner. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Adams and husband Ray, Teresa Lovett and husband Gary; son, Dale Patterson and wife Lynn; brothers, Ray Haynes and family, Michael Haynes and family; Momma Jean Haynes; grandchildren, Melissa Mills, Jason Norman, Brian Lovett, Heather Lovett, Katie Anderson, Brent Anderson, Whitney Poore, Mercedez Maples, Trevor Maples, Jordan Patterson, Dylan Cassady; great-grandchildren, Jayda, Ethan, Reece, Millie and one bun in the oven. The family would like to extend their thanks to Chelsea, Cathy, Juanita, Dawn, Cynthia, Jan, Faye, Melanie and Lorraine from Thompson Cancer Center. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Monday, March 12th from 5-7pm with a service to follow. Reverend Mark Large officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City on Tuesday, March 13th at 11am and proceed to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a Graveside Service.
