Dorothy Ruth Ford

Dorothy R. (Moyers) Ford, age 63, of Speedwell, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Parkwest Hospital. She was born in Bell County, KY on November 26th, 1957, to the late Edward and Geraldine Moyers. She was of the Christian faith and attended Boone’s Temple and Shipley Grove CGMA. Dorothy was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was employed at SRK in Tazewell, TN, and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Amanda Gail Moyers, and her brother-in-law James Graves. Survivors include Kenneth Ray Ford (Husband), Bobbie Moyers (Daughter), Nia Ford, Kenneth Ford, Addison Miller (Granddaughter), Kayson Brim (Grandson) as well as Eddy (Madaline) Moyers, Alan Moyers, Carolyn Graves, Betty (Melvin) Graves, Marvin Moyers, Dennis Moyers, Michael Moyers, and Mitchell (Lisa) Moyers. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 6:00pm, officiated by Prophetess Terry Tucker. Burial will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:30am at the East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery on Governor John Sevier Highway. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
