Dorothy Marie Garland

Dorothy Marie Wright Garland of Knoxville, age 89, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday December 2nd. Dorothy was such a wonderful, loving, and devoted mother and grandmother to so many and loved everyone with a special love. Dorothy is preceded in death by daughters Linda Rudd, Patsy Curnutt Wilson, and Betty Gibbs; son Alan Wright. She is survived by sons Ronny Wright (Teresa), David Wright (Sharon), Johnny Wright, and Terry Wright (Tressa); daughter Debbie Huggins (Mike); 29 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at 1:45p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery for 2:00p.m. graveside service, with Pastor Carl Brock of Church on Fire officiating.
