Dorothy Lee Neal

Neal, Dorothy Lee, age 87, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord August 13, 2013. She was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church and was retired from Deroyal Industries. She is preceded in death by parents George and Maybelle Browning, son Jerry Rose, son-in-law Kenny Hill, brothers Roy, Warren and Archie, and sisters Elsie Foulks, Stacy Cabbage, and Bertha Cox. Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years Edward, daughter Carlene Tipton (David), son Robert “Toby” Rose (Janet), sister-in-law Edna Browning, grandchildren Nina (Donny), Justin, and Brandon Hill, Eric Rose (Brandy), Jennie and William “Billy” Rose, ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lincoln Park Baptist Church Building Fund. Funeral service will be 8 PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45 AM Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 10 AM. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
