Dorothy Lee Elliott Luttrell Cooper, age 88 of Heiskell, passed away October 1, 2015, surrounded by her family holding her hand. She was born November 2, 1926 in Anderson County. She was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church in Heiskell and also attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Lincoln and Mossie Elliott; sisters, Shirley Whited and Barbara Douglas; brothers, Richard Elliott, Bob Elliott, and Kyle Elliott. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Gene) England; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Denise Luttrell; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Gene Hale; grandchildren, David Smith, T.J. and wife Brittany Luttrell, Brittney and husband Ray Troutman, Cody Hale, and Kaylee Hale; great-grandchildren, Gracie Luttrell, Leland Byram, and Pauline Byram; brothers, Charles Elliott and Bud Elliott; and lots of nieces and nephews; special niece, Linda Prewitt; special cousin, Carolyn Bailey; special brother-in-law, Harold Whited; special friends, Eleanor Enlow, Bertha Foster, and Doris Brantley. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating. Special thanks to Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls for all their care and to Rev. Charlie Tindell for all his love and kind words. Pallbearers will be Gene Hale, Cody Hale, T.J. Luttrell, David Smith, Lynn Whited, and Charlie Elliott. Family and friends will meet 12:15 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Fairview Freewill Baptist Church in Heiskell for 1:00 pm interment.
