Dorothy Jean Sauceman Weaver (Dot), Age 82, of West Knoxville. Born November 20, 1931 and went to be with the Lord June 30, 2014. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence H. And Effie D. Sauceman; brother, Wendell Sauceman; sister, Wilma Miller. Survived by daughter, Karen Reed of Knoxville; son, Steve Weaver; grandchildren, Brittney Diaw, Brad Reed, Stephen and Danny Weaver; sisters, Polly Canup, Ruth French, Zella Anderson and husband Ralph, Linda Waggoner and Wanda Joiner; brothers, Bill Sauceman and wife Ruby, Jim Sauceman and wife Grace; She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; special friends, Jose and Yvonne Dodaro of Lawrenceville, GA. A special thank you to Avalon Hospice Nurses for excellent care and many friends for food, love and support. Funeral Service will be 7:30 Pm, Wednesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw and Rev. Jimbo Seaton officiating with special speakers Chad Joiner and Tyler Anderson. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM, Thursday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City to proceed to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery for Interment at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Brian Metler, Richie Joiner, Todd Hensley, Ralph Anderson, Greg Walker and Shane Sauceman. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Hobbs, Papa Diaw, Jordy Sauceman, Phil Clifton and Joe Baker. The family will receive friends 5:30- 7:30 PM, Wednesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
