Dorothy Dean Demarcus

Dorothy Dean Gray DeMarcus, age 90, passed away July 15, 2016. She was a member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church. She was friendly, outgoing, loved children and cats. Preceded in death by parents Alonzo and Nora Gray; husband Obern DeMarcus; sisters Mattie Fraker and Mary Rimmer; Brothers Clarence Gray and Rev. Clyde Gray. Survived by children Charlotte Smith (Junior), Sherry Dopwell (Sean), Lynn DeMarcus (Linda), Kyle DeMarcus (Sherry); 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister Ella Patterson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service to be held 8:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Freddy Goodson and Rev. Chipper Warwick officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Tennessee Foundation. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Hutchison Cemetery for interment at 11:00 am. Pallbearers: Brian DeMarcus, Greg DeMarcus, Gary Gray, Ronnie Gray, Lonnie Gray and Danny Graham.
