Doris Louise Henry

Doris Louise Adams Henry, age 77, of Powell, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 8th, 2017. She was a longtime member of Brickyard Road Baptist Church, enjoyed singing, working in her yard, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by daughters Lisa Marie and Sherry Lynn Henry, and parents Earl and Zora Whaley Wallace and Larmer Adams. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years Robert Henry, children Karen Sims, and husband Sherrod, Pamela Cruze, Scott Henry, and wife Cindy, grandchildren Shannon Hall, Dawn Stewart, Triston Henry, and Garrett Smith, great-grandchildren Keith, Alex, and Madison, 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother Wayne Adams, and wife Kay, and numerous extended family and dear friends. The family would like to say thank you to Avalon Hospice for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Danny Buchanan will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. interment service on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at McCampbell’s Chapel Cemetery, New Market, TN.
