Dora Louise Phibbs

Dora Louise Phibbs, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2021. She attended St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She later retired from St. Mary’s Hospital. She is preceded in death by parents, Jason and Carrie Scott; husband, Robert William Phibbs, Sr., daughter and son-in-law, Macy Montgomery (Richard); son, Robert Phibbs, Jr.; grandson, Jason Phibbs; 12 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Susan I. Bailey (Kenneth); grandchildren, Nicholas Phibbs Bailey (Morgan); Carrie A. Montgomery Newsome (Ed); great grandchildren, Anthony, Nathan and Keegan Vallone; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to UT Hospice for their care during this time. Family and friends may call at their convience on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 9:00am until 5:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Parlors. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00am for a graveside service officiated by Robert Rutherford.
