Donnie Lee Cooper

Donnie Lee Cooper, age 66, of Heiskell passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was as member of Calvary Baptist Church. Graduated from Powell High School in 1969, and obtained his B.S. degree from Austin Peay University in 1973. Prior to his retirement, he was co-owner of Mid-South Builders and present co-owner of Advanced Concepts II Salon. Preceded in death by parents Jesse Lee and Verla Faye Lamb Cooper; grandparents Miller G. and Janie Lamb. Survivors: His soul-mate of 16 years Nancy Reed-Mitchell; son Joshua Aaron Cooper; brother and sister-in-law Chester and Linda Cooper; aunt Vesta Norman; nieces Tammy Potter, Lora Yoakum and husband Chad, Tracy Ellis and husband Dan; great nieces and nephews Reese Yoakum, Jordan Ellis, and Lucas Ellis; several cousins and extended family; and special friends Jack and Vickie Campbell and Gary and Patrice Smith. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00pm with Rev. Dan Hix officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am for an 11:00 interment at Bishopville Cemetery.
