Donna Jean Nelson

On Friday, March 5, 2021, Donna J. Nelson of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by parents, George Ellis and Zona McMillen; husband, Robert R. Nelson Sr.; son, Troy; niece, Ronda Jean. She is survived by daughter Deborah McNew; sons, Rocky Reynolds, Robert Nelson Jr.; sisters, Barbara Swafford, and Jerry S. Throp; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will meet at the Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:30 am for an 11:00 am Funeral Service Officiated by Kyle Quintero. Family and Friends will then proceed to Greenwood cemetery for a 12:00 pm graveside service. Pallbearers: grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Hannah, Brett, Jacob, and Andrea.
