Donald Lester Adams

August 28, 1930 — February 6, 2024

Donald L. Adams, age 93, passed away February 6, 2024. He was born in Port Townsend, Washington, and from there moved to San Diego, California, and retired from Frost Hardwood Lumber Company. Donald was a Korean Conflict Era Navy Veteran where he proudly served his country from February 1,1952 to January 26, 1956. He loved spending his free time, metal detecting and collecting model planes and cars. He was also an enormous animal lover and adored his cat, Miss Kitty. Not only was Donald a loving father, husband and grandfather, he was a hard-working man who will live on through the incredible legacy he created by doing everything in his power to support his family any way he could. There were not many times that could be recalled, if any, when he was not there for his wife, daughter or grandchildren. He was the definition of a role model and provider. Donald was also an elder of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe and was one of the oldest members of the tribe until his passing. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Adams, parents, Sydney and Vera Adams and siblings, Dolly LaBelle and George Adams and his beloved cat Miss Kitty. He is survived by daughter, Donna Adams-Reves; grandchildren, Porscha Champlin, Jace Bowden, Jaydon Reves and Anna Reves; brother, Ted Adams; nieces, Sharon Houck, Billie Joe Adams and Bobbie Joe Stringer; and sister-in-law, Nina Adams. Family and friends will meet 8:30 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Highway) for graveside service with full military honors presented by the Volunteer State Veterans' Honor Guard. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
