Laurendine, Donald Hardee, 79, of Knoxville, originally of Laurel, Mississippi, entered his exciting new adventure on November 2, 2014. He was a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls. Don was employed with The H.T. Hackney Company for 35 years and Miller Equipment Company until his retirement. He was a loving and devoted husband for 57 years; a wonderful father and grandfather to 2 grandchildren whom he absolutely adored. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Zelma Lee Laurendine. He is survived by wife, Marian of Knoxville; daughter Marti, of Nashville; son Mark and wife Paula of Pace, Florida; grandchildren Madison Rae and William Keaton; 2 brothers, Orville and wife Betty of Kingston, TN; Louis (Butch) of Lake City, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Christ United Methodist Church in Halls from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow. The Reverend Dennie Humphreys and Reverend Charla Sherbakoff will officiate. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. and proceed to Oak Ridge Memorial Park for internment service.
