February 26, 1957 – March 2, 2025
Donald John Dugan was born in Little Rock, AR to Donald and Dora Dugan, the second of six children. He was raised in Knoxville, TN. After graduating High School in 1795, Don joined the army where he gained experience driving a large truck, which he used throughout his career.
Later that year he married Julie Williams, his high school sweetheart. Together the had four children. The family moved to Tucson, AZ in 1984. Don enjoyed working outdoors and made his living in construction, tree removal, the logging industry, ran a sawmill and drove a truck. He liked to fish, garden and ride his motorcycle.
Julie began studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1985 and was baptized in 1988. Don had a keen interest in the Bible and dedicated his life to Jehovah in 2007.
He had a “larger than life” personality and never met a stranger. He will be missed!
Don was preceded in death by his parents Don and Dora Dugan, son Samuel, sister Patricia Woliver and nephew Alex Woliver.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Julie and their children Caroline Dugan, Jessica Lynch (Jeremy) and Jack Dugan. Grandsons Caelin Dugan, Micah Dugan, Jordan Lynch, Justin Lynch and Jack Dugan Jr. Granddaughter Allison Dugan. Siblings Cathleen Burres (Ed), Paul Dugan (Janet), Claire Spain (David), Michael Dugan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 8311 E Stella Rd, Tucson, AZ 85730. Please join the family immediately after for a reception at the Rincon County Mobile Home Park at 3411 S Camino Seco, Tucson, AZ 85730.
