Doloros "Jean" DeZearn (Burnette) age 83 of Corryton, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jean drove a school bus for many years in the Corryton community. Later she was employed by Knox Area Transit KAT) also as a driver and loved doing it. She was a lover of nature, animals and especially flowers. She would show everyone who visited, her flower garden. No one left without a start off of one of her many flowers, plants or vines, and told you step by step what you needed to do with it once you got it home. Jean would take in any stray animals or hurt wildlife and nurse it back to health (birds, rabbits, squirrels and even snakes). She never met a stranger and was the most selfless wife, mom, granny and friend, she would help anyone in need, anyway she could even if it meant her going without. Jean was an avid NASCAR fan. Her all time favorite was of course, Dale Earnhardt #3. She also loved country music and old rock and roll. We love you and we are sure going to miss you. Until we see you again, fly high, rest easy and watch out for all of us down here.
