Dmitriy Ilich Fakashchuk

Dimitriy Ilich Fakashchuk, age 69 of West Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Tennova Turkey Creek. Born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine and immigrated to Portland, Oregan in 2000 and attended UBC then moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in August 2006. Since moving to Knoxville, he was an active member of the Slavic Gospel Church where he sang in the choir. He was the owner and operator of D & VD Auto. He was very generous to others and he had a kind heart, always willing to help. Survivors; wife of 47 years, Nadezhda Fakashchuk. Children; Vitaliy and Oksana, Slavik and Margarita, Vladik and Nastya, Andrey and Tatyana, Svetlana and Viktor, Dima and Nastya, Danik and Natasha, Nadia and Kostya, Natalka and Alex. Grandchildren, Katherine, Kristina, Naomi, Evelyn, Melissa, Anthony, Edward, Samuel, Vadim, Liana, Vanessa, Angelina, Gabriella, Viktor, Andrew, Karina, Alex, Sophia, Eliana, Isabella, Danka, Sarah, Emily, Diana, Dennis, C. J., Jason, Nathan, Liam, Artem, Paul, Kelly, Jesse, Paul and Julie. Sisters; Veronika, Domnika and Evheniya. Brother, Samuel. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 6:00pm Saturday, August 14, 2021 Slavic Gospel Church, 1928 Fairmont Boulevard, Rev. Michael Dulko officiating.
