Diane Adams Raymondo, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was a member of the Knoxville Primitive Baptist Church. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lagonda Adams. She is survived by her husband John, to whom she was married to for almost 52 years, other survivors include brother and sister-in-law Ken and Brenda Adams, special aunt Sylvia McMahan who called here every day, sister-in-law Cynthia (Joe) Bush, brother-in-law Jim (Sherry) Raymondo, several nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to thank the many friends who were there for us through this battle with “Nasty C” as Diane called it. Special thanks to Helen Gornflo who was there from the day of her surgery until she met her Lord and walks the streets of gold. Also, thanks to her church family for their prayers and concerns. Special thanks to her cousin Danny Rutherford who was always there for Diane. Diane worked as a bookkeeper at the family business at Graning Paint, and after retiring from there, she worked at John’s business, Big Oak Shoes until it was sold. Diane loved to travel and was always ready for another trip. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Family and friends may call at their convenience from 12:00-6:00pm Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 8:45am Friday, August 27, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 9:00 graveside service, officiated by Elder Bill Taylor and Elder Eugene Wilder.
