Dewey Sproles

Dewey Lee Sproles – On Thursday, April 2, 2020 Dewey Sproles, husband, son and step father, passed away suddenly at the age of 56, at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dewey was raised in Abingdon, Virginia. He served in the United States Air Force until 1989 as a Special Police Officer. His career continued as a special police officer working for several Department of Energy sites, and for the last seven years he has worked at the Y-12 Nuclear Facility in Oak Ridge as a CAS Operator. Dewey enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cooking, spending time with family, friends and his dog. Dewey will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend Sheri and stepson Cody Triplett, and by his mother Emma Miller, and his brothers Rocky (Sharon) and Doug Sproles, and by his sister in law’s, several nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
