Della met the love of her life and they were married on January 31, 1953. In her younger years she owned and operated a restaurant. She continued her love and talents by baking and decorating cakes for birthdays, weddings and more. She had a love for birds, her favorites being the bluebird and the hummingbird. She loved to join family and friends on vacation trips and always made them so special. She was an avid fan of all her grandchildren and their activities. Her love and support to family and friends was a precious blessing. As a member of North Knoxville Church of God she was part of the choir and loved to teach her children's church class for many years. She kept a notebook for any friends or family in need of prayer and she faithfully raised them up during her prayer time. Her advice and wisdom given to each of us through God's love and Word have taught us many lessons and left a true legacy to follow.
