Deborah Hamlet

Debbie Hamlet, age, 69 of Mascot, TN passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer and other health related issues. Debbie loved everyone that she met and had a soft spot in her heart for those that she found in need. Debbie also had compassion for all animals many of which would often become known as family pets. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and always enjoyed their visits, whether in person or talking on the phone. Debbie is preceded in death by her husband Bill Hamlet, (mother) Elnora Talley, (father) Glenn Brock, & (son) Tim McMurray. She is survived by her loving daughter & caretaker Kim (Donny) Smith, stepdaughter and stepsons Renea Acre, Alex & Eric Hamlet, Grandchildren Casey (Brandon) Hobbs, Shane King, Bailee Hatmaker, Haley Smith, & Tristen Smith, Great-grandchildren Tegan Hobbs, & Sutton Smith, her loving sisters Glenda (Gary) Trent, & Stacy Lemons, niece and nephew Nikki Turner & Austin Lemons, Great-nephews Kenyon and Keegan Turner, & Great-niece Paisley Lemons. As Debbie would want it, please consider making a donation in her honor to ASPCA and/or St. Jude’s Children’s hospital. A celebration of life and memorial service will be scheduled with family and special friends at a later date
