Deborah Kathleen Burns

Deborah Kathleen Burns, age 55 of Sevierville, TN., passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024 after a battle with cancer. She was ready to be with her children and Lord in Heaven. Her greatest joy in life was being MiMi to her grandbabies. She loved all things beautiful, music, writing poetry, and spreading kindness.

Deborah is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Matthews; father, Joseph Burns; son, Eric Lanham; daughter, Nicole Burns; sister, Mary Ann Burns and brothers Michael Burns and William Burns.

She is survived by her daughter, Miranda (Andrew) Hillard; grandchildren, Ava Hillard, Jackson Hillard, and Sawyer Hillard; father, George Matthews Sr.; sister, Charmaine Burns; brothers, George (Renee) Matthews Jr. and John Burns; nieces, Christina Burns, Sarah (Brett) Harrell, and Kayla Matthews; nephew, Derrick Matthews, and great-nieces, Lilliana Harrell, Olivia Harrell, Journee Farley and Anea Matthews.
