Deborah Ann "Debbie" Lawson

Deborah Ann Lawson, age 63, was called home on July 17, 2016 to be with her mother and father. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. Debbie retired from Knox County Schools after many years of service in the Special Education classroom at Amherst Elementary School. She had a great love of flowers, sunflowers being her favorite. Following her funeral service, all of Debbie’s memorial flowers will be donated to Random Acts of Flowers, to share that love with others. She was preceded in death by parents Ernest and Georgia Ellis Shearl. Family members left to miss her include husband Ronald M. Lawson, children Michael C. Lawson and wife Alethea, Kelly L. Adams and husband Ronnie, and Jenna R. Darnbush and husband Chris, and grandchildren Andruw Lawson, Gage Campbell, and Zarley Lawson. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Dr. Jack Baldwin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Thursday at Highland West for interment at 11 AM.
