Deana Pierce Stiltner, born October 23, 1970, in Jamestown, Tennessee to Willie Pierce and Brenda (Rogers) Pierce-Williams. Deana had two older sisters Rita and Elizabeth. Deana was raised in the Tinchtown area. Deana attended York Institue where she was active in sports as well as other activities. She attended Eastern Kentucky University, graduating with an honors degree in Criminal Justice. She served ten years as a Special Agent for the Office of Inspector General. On June 18, 1995 she married Randy Stiltner and they began their lives together in Nashville, Tennessee and later moved to Knoxville, Tennessee. They have 3 beautiful children Delaine Leeann, 16, Miranda Dean, 13, and Pierce Justice, 10. Deana was a very active mother – encouraging, supporting, and loving every activity that her children wanted to be part of. She and Randy loved life, and each other and relished parenthood. They are members of Powell Methodist Church. In 2011 she began the battle of her lifetime after being diagnosed with cancer. She strived continuously to not allow the battle to interfere with the love of her family. She loved living, was a friend to many, and was inspired by her children on a daily basis. God took her home while receiving care in Houston, Texas at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Family will receive friends at Powell United Methodist Church from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., service to follow at 2:30 p.m. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel in charge of arrangements.
