David Wayne Newton

David Wayne Newton, age 51 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on July 31, 2018. He was a past member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church. He did concrete work for many years. A longtime usher at U.T. Athletic Events. He never met a stranger and would always help anybody. Preceded in death by grandparents John and Melba Edwards and Murphy and Sarada Newton, as well as, several aunts and uncles. Survived by daughter Kara Holloway (Cameron); granddaughter Bailey Holloway; parents Mona and David Newton; brothers Todd Newton (Missy) and Kevin Sherrod; godmother Sharon Lawson and very special friend, Jeanne Mealer. Family will receive friends 12:30-2:30PM Sunday August 5, 2018 with memorial service to follow, Dr. Todd Stinnet officiating. Private interment will be held.
