David Palmer Milligan

David P. Milligan, born August 19, 1931 in Waltham, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on October 6, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones. He was retired from Eastern Air Lines and AVCAM, Inc. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife Jane Gordon Milligan and second wife Carole R. Milligan. Survived by children Debbie (Morgan) Fox of Crest, CA, Diana (Scott) Polycarpo of West Palm Beach, FL, David Milligan of Daleville, AL, Lorrie Wesolek, Lisa Gibson, and Ellen (Tom) Zumwalt of Knoxville; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a brother; 2 sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Saturday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM Monday October 15, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and then will process to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Hwy) for an 11:30 AM interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
