David Morgan Osborn

David Morgan Osborn, age 78 of Knoxville, went home to be with his heavenly father on Monday, February 4, 2019. He served in the US Army and later retired from the US Postal Service. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lillie Osborn. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Martha Osborn; children, David A. Osborn (Shari), Vickie Smith (Larry) and Shawn Osborn; grandchildren, Jessica Ownsby (Jayson), Cory Smith (Ashley) and Brenna Smith; great-grandchildren, Jayce and Ellie Ownsby and Rowan Smith; and two brothers, George Osborn and Edward Osborn (Robin). Family and friends will gather at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, February 11th at 1:45pm for a 2:00pm interment, Chaplain Jason Littlejohn officiating. Full military honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
