David Lee Lambert, Sr., age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 27, 2021. He was at home surrounded by his wife of 59 years, and his children. He loved his large family, friends and community. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was an avid Volunteer fan as well as the Halls Red Devils and Central Bobcats. He was the Halls Business and Professional Association "Man of the Year" in 1999 as well as a lifetime member. He was a loyal supporter of the Shriners, JDRF and FCA.
Preceded in death by his parents, Howard Lambert and Anna Lee Weaver Lambert, his brother Joseph Ray Lambert, father-in-law Leon Strange and mother-in-law Reva Franklin Strange.
Survived by his wife, Wanda Lee Strange Lambert. His children, Kimberly (Tim) Webb, David (Sybil) Lambert, Jr. and Lisa (Derek) Jones all of Knoxville. Grandchildren, Brittany (Ben) Cassady, Ashley Lambert, BriAnna (Sean) Smith, Journey Roth, Aaron Jones, Kelsey Lambert, Kenzie Phillips, Noah Jones and Drew Phillips. Great Grandchildren, Gabe, lan, Maddie, Rhett, Sawyer, Clara, Cora, Emi and Amelia. Siblings, Walter Lambert, Inez (Eddie) Elmore, Kay Clarkson, Wayne (Susan) Lambert, Dwayne (Janie) Lambert, Steve Lambert, Mary McDonald, Chris (Cindy) Strange and Liz White. Wanda's siblings included here in honor of how David thought of their family. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Mark White officiating. Condolences for the family may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
