David Hickman

David Burton Hickman went home to be with Jesus on April 17th, 2023 at the age of 85.
David was born and raised in Knoxville but spent most of his life as a resident of Seymour, TN.
As a long-time active member of Providence Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy, his parents Charlie and Paralee, daughter Jamie
Hickman and son, Michael Hickman.
He is survived by his son Evan Hickman and daughters Julie Scott (Darris Weaver) and Amber
Hickman. His grandchildren Amanda Miller, Erin Hickman, McKenzie Hickman, Mason
Hickman, Alicia Doane, Erica Richards, Kaeli Plont, Robel Scott, Gelila Scott, Taylor Hickman,
Alex Hickman and AJ Hickman and 13 great-grandchildren.
David enjoyed the friendships and conversations he had with his Sunday School class. He is
finally home at the feet of his Savior, most assuredly making friends with everyone he comes in
contact with, just as he did on earth.
Visitation is on April 21, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Providence Baptist Church--5766 Sevierville
Rd (411), Seymour, TN 37865 with service at 7:00pm.
