David Gatewood Irwin, age 76 of Knoxville, passed away May 15, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents Sterling and Grace Irwin and his beloved aunt, Helen Prentice Caulton of Maryville, TN. Survived by brother Caulton Lee Irwin in Morgantown, WV, sister Marion Irwin Thompson Edwardsville, IL. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Friday, May 20, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev David Maude officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to Brown Cemetery for interment.
