David "Doutch" Bryant

DAVID “Doutch” BRYANT, age 75, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024. David was a kind and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He bravely served beside his fellow soldiers with the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

David is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Bryant; sister, Dorothy Bryant; brothers, Kenneth Bryant, Wayne Bryant, Dick Bryant and Bruce Bryant.

David is survived by his daughter, Dea Sammons (Jerry); grandchildren, Richie (Jesisca), Spencer (Emilee) and Jerry, Jr; great-grandchildren, Braydin, Skyler, Shaelyn, Ryder, Dayton, Dallas, Brendan, Serena, Korbyn, Raelynn, Libby, Riley and Raegan; siblings, Sam Bryant (Sue), Jimmy Bryant, and Tom Bryant (Bonnie); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Family and friends will gather at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (2200 Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920) on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 12:30 pm where David will be laid to rest with full military honors.
