David Lee Dees

David L. Dees, age 69 of Knoxville, Tennessee born November 24, 1953, passed away at Beverly Park on April 24, 2023. David worked at The University of Tennessee Library. He graduated from Halls High School class of 1971. David also graduated from University of Tennessee with a Master in science and bachelors of art. David loved putting models together. David is preceded in death by father, George H. Dees; mother, Elise J. Dees; sister, Mary Easterday; brother, Fred Dees. David is survived by sister, Dollie Easterday of Jupiter Fl.; brother, George (Carolyn) Dees, special sister in law, Barbara Dees and caregiver. Several nieces, Brenda Rogers (Travis), Joy Keyser (Randall), Tammy O’Rourke (Curt); nephews, Michael L. Dees (Kelli), Mike Easterday (Nora), Gary Easterday, as well as special friend Mike Lawrence. Friends and family will meet at 1:45 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Fairview Baptist Cemetery for a 2:00 PM graveside service, Rev. Mark Kitts officiating.
