Dardenella Irene (Dickens) Lester

Dardenella Irene (Dickens) Lester, born April 9, 1938 in West Virginia, and passed away May 31, 2016 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Lula (Honaker) Dickens; sister, Ruth; brothers, Gene, Paul, and Linden, son, Vernon. She is survived by daughters, Drema Lowe and husband Joe, of Sharp’s Chapel, Tennessee, Debra Valoven and husband Bob, Jill Campbell and husband Gary of Cleveland, Ohio; sons, Randy Dickens and wife Evelyn, Philip Lester and wife Laura, Mike Lester, Timothy Liptak of Cleveland, Ohio, Edward Bowen and wife Sharon of Powell, Tennessee and Jeff Lester of Georgia. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Tennessee, Ohio and Georgia whom were all special to her. Funeral service will be 8pm Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15pm Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the funeral home and proceed to Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery for a 2pm interment. The family will have a family night at the funeral home from 6-8 pm, Friday, June 3, 2016. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
