Danny Joe Worley

Rev. Danny J. Worley Sr. departed this life to join the heavenly host on November 1, 2022, at the age of 78 after a short illness. He was a member of Keith Avenue Baptist Church. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a constant witness of the same. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn M. Mays Worley, mother, Lettie Fox, stepfather, Ivan Fox, father, Roger Worley Sr. and sister, Shelby Spencer. Survived by; sisters, Janie Wilkes (Tommy) and Sue Hinton (Bill), brother, Roger Worley Jr., daughters, Erica Tipton (Dan), Alesha Worley (Mike), Michelle Worley, sons, Timothy and Danny (Kerrie) and having many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brothers/sisters-in-law. A receiving of friends will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel from 5:00-7:00pm with a funeral service to follow Rev. Dan Tipton officiating. Family and friends will at New Gray Cemetery on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 10:45am for an 11:00am graveside service with full military honors.
