Daniel Leroy White

Daniel LeRoy White Sr., age 80, passed away October 29, 2016. He was a Deacon at Atlantic Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Daniel was a loving husband and father. He told everyone he met “get ready for Sunday school.” Preceded in death by wife, Edith Jane White; son, Fred A. White; granddaughter, Mellissa Pack; 5 great-grandchildren and 7 siblings. Survived by wife, Edna White; children, Daniel White Jr., Barbara Ziegler, Robin Melton, Paul White and Crystal McAllister; several grandchildren; sister, Velma Holloway; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Fred White for his loving care. There will be a call of convenience 9:00am to 1:00pm, Monday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 2:45pm, Monday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for graveside service at 3:00pm, Rev. Eddie Seals officiating.
