Daniel (Danny) Edward Pressley went to his eternal home in heaven with his Lord and Savior on December 8th, 2021 at the age of 66. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ann Marie Pressley; Children: LeAnne Solomon (TJ), and Julie Collins; Mother: Della White Pressley; Mother-in-law: Edna Tolliver; Sister: Lisa Cupp (Sammie); Grandchildren: Bradley Collins, Brayden and Ethan Griffin; Nephew: Matt Cupp (Morgan); Niece: Lindsey Maples (Derek); Special close friend: Dale Maples; and several more nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Preceded in death by his father Ralph Edward Pressley, father-in-law Boyd Tolliver, grandparents Elmer and Rachel White, and George and Myrtle Pressley.
Born in Knoxville on September 10, 1955, Danny’s character was not only commendable but unforgettable. He could be described as having such a high level of generosity that he would give you his last dime if it meant he could help you. However, his immersed kindness towards strangers was undoubtedly trumped by his love and dedication to his family.
He possessed many passions and skills including his ability as an artist, specifically drawing. He was vastly knowledgeable in home gardening and enjoyed woodworking. In addition, he held a deep interest and practiced studying his Bible and devotion to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He could quote almost any verse from the scripture and was a member of North Knoxville Church of God. His greatest achievement he would tell you was being the dad of twin daughters. He enjoyed the country mountains, hunting, fishing, and antique collecting. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16, 2021, 6:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with the funeral following at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will gather 10:45 am on Friday, December 17th at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 am graveside service. Condolences for the family may be shared at www.mynattfh.com.
